Massachusetts Stumbles With Loss To St. Joseph's (PA), 73-62

In Philadelphia on February 11th the Minutemen lost to the Hawks in conference action, 73-62.

A key stat in regard to the game: The Minutemen beat the Hawks this year, so this loss splits their regular season games.

Massachusetts was dominated in free throw shooting and also lost the battle in defensive rebounding.

St. Joseph's (PA) was too much on the glass, with 35 defensive rebounds to only 24 from Massachusetts. The Hawks hit 16 of their attempts from the free throw line, besting seven from the Minutemen.

Jesse Morgan put his best effort out there for the Minutemen with 18 points in 27 minutes shooting 43% from the floor, including 12 from three-point range. Chaz Williams led both teams with 10 assists.
