Everything fell into place in Amherst as the Minutemen beat the Bonnies in A-10 play, 76-67.
Some notes regarding this game: At home, the Minutemen play very well, and now that record is 11-0. Last season, Massachusetts beat St. Bonaventure 78-69. Over the last four years, the Minutemen have a record of 3-2 with a record of 2-1 at William D. Mullins Center. Massachusetts has a winning record over St. Bonaventure going back to 1980, 39-19.
Massachusetts was able to overwhelm St. Bonaventure in three pointers and also win the battle in assists.
Massachusetts drained too many threes for St. Bonaventure to recover from, with 27 points compared to six. Massachusetts spread the ball around with ease, and its 16 assists gave it an advantage compared to 14 from St. Bonaventure.
Jesse Morgan put up the most points for the Minutemen with 24 points in 34 minutes, shooting 69% from the floor, 18 of those points coming from three-point range. Chaz Williams helped the cause by topping everyone with eight free throws.

The Minutemen are now 18-6, in what is usually the toughest part of the season. With their record improving to 7-3 in the A-10, they stay in 2nd place. They now have a 4-4 record against the RPI Top 100 (St. Bonaventure #84). They've also won 4 out of their last 5 games.
